Photographed Here is the Critically Endangered Western Purple-Faced Leaf Monkey. It is one of the Most Endangered Primate Species which is Endemic to The Dense Rainforests in the Island Nation of Sri Lanka. What makes this encounter even more special is found this individual not in the dense rainforests- but rather the suburbs of the capital city of Colombo, and in the perfect golden light of the golden hour peeking in through the canopy ! This fact highlights the Importance of co existence, and how it is essential so that species like these are not extinct.

Photographed here is the Yellow Footed Green Pigeon, a Vibrant Pigeon Species that Primarily Prefers the Canopy and that is what makes this moment special. This species almost never comes out of the canopies due to fear of the Birds of Prey but I studied their behaviors for a few weeks and noticed a time period of barely 5-10 mins every day they would vanish from their high canopies. I found the spot after hearing their and it turned out to be their feeding spot, barely a few feet from the ground; unlike the canopies they are known for!

Photographed here is a Rather Common yet Beautiful Spotted Owlet. I Spent a Few Weeks waiting for this particularly shy owl to show up at the perfect time and give me the perfect behavioral pose. It was definitely Worthwhile the wait!
